Falling behind

Hello everyone!

It's been quite a year. I started this blog as a way to keep everyone updated on our cotton candy adventures, and our life in NH in general. Funny how life has a funny way of going sideways! The cotton candy was put on hold while we decided what to do beyond the local flea market we were selling at. I then left my job and started the hunt for a new one, while Alex decided to go for his real estate license. Well, I now have a job, Alex is now a realtor and we actually provided cotton candy favors at a friends wedding! 

We loved being included in their special day (well, I was already included, as the maid of honor!) and we loved seeing how the favors turned out. They were a big hit as well! We provided both maple and coffee flavors and both were well received. 

We are now getting ready for a local event tomorrow where we hope to kick start the business and hopefully get our names out there. We're hoping for a good turnout and positive reviews! Stay tuned for pictures. 

We're excited to see where cotton candy will take us and we hope you are too!

Welcome to The Wicked Awesome Life!

Hello and welcome! We are Amiee and Alex, two 30 somethings living in southern NH.

We both love cotton candy. So much so that after Easter one year, we bought 200 tubs of clearance Easter cotton candy from various Wal-Marts around us. Alex had the idea to start his own cotton candy business, both because we love eating it and he enjoys the art of making it. He also discovered that he enjoys inventing new flavors! He's invented coffee and pumpkin spice flavored cotton candy (both were big hits) and wants to experiment with more flavors!

I, on the other hand, work mostly behind the scenes. I mostly oversee the social media aspects but will be spotted at events helping out as well (and probably taking pictures).

We both enjoy this little side hobby and hope to maybe one day turn it into something bigger. For now, we're learning, having fun and making lots of cotton candy!

This blog will be a way to keep up with our events and ideas, but also us in general. It's called The Wicked Awesome Life, not only because it's the name of our business, but because living in NH IS a wicked awesome life!
